Simonholt is very pleased to announce that our next show will be with
the Phil Dwyer Trio at the Simonholt Restaurant, Sunday November 2nd.
7:30pm.
The band features multiple Juno and Order of Canada recipient, Phil
Dwyer (tenor sax and keys), Ben Dwyer (bass) and from the  US, Alan
Jones (drums).

Forged on the streets of Brooklyn and honed through decades of touring
and recording together in North America and Europe, the musical
relationship between drummer Alan Jones and multi-instrumentalist Phil
Dwyer is one of the most exciting and dynamic in contemporary jazz.

With rising star Ben Dwyer on bass, this intergenerational trio merges
decades of jazz tradition with fearless modern expression. Expect fresh
treatment of familiar standards, inventive original compositions, and
rich dialogue, layered with emotional depth and musical empathy.
