Award Winning singer songwriter, John Kelly, will be coming from Boston
to Nanaimo to entertain us with his extraordinary songs. John is teamed
with a stellar band of jazz musicians to provide a unique musical
experience.

The band features John Kelly (voice and guitar), Emily Celeste (voice),
Daryl Louis Marklinger (lead and acoustic guitars), Brent Jarvis (keys),
Graham Shonwise (basses) and Hans Verhoeven (drums)

John’s latest project had an auspicious beginning when one of his more
pop-oriented compositions, “Shine”, became a standout Award Winner at
the Nashville Songwriters Association International. He also happens to
be Professor Of Addiction Psychology at Harvard University.
A hugely gifted lyricist, John’s melodies will find a place in your head
and stay there! New to Nanaimo but not new to music, this show will be
recorded by the venerable Ron Obvious for a live album, so bring your
best applause!
